Daredevil: Born Again Episode 3 Ending Explained

The third episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series builds on the thrilling first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again, which made courtroom drama as thrilling as superhero battles. Despite the contentious nature of Foggy Nelson's death in the first episode of the new MCU TV series, Daredevil: Born Again has received largely positive reviews. Episode 2 went deeper into how Marvel Studios creates new circumstances for the show's two main characters, whereas episode 1 concentrated on tying Daredevil's latest chapter to the original Netflix series.

Daredevil: Born Again, which co-stars Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk and Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, is more of a two-hander than Netflix's Daredevil, which was nearly entirely centered on its title character. White Tiger, a new hero in the MCU, was first shown in Episode 2. Hector Ayala, played by Kamar de los Reyes, is a hero who runs afoul of the law after saving a person from two officers who were not in their uniforms, which results in one of them being accidentally killed. In the third episode of Daredevil: Born Again, Matt decides to represent White Tiger during his trial.

An explanation of the White Tiger murder trial's shocking revelation and verdict

White Tiger's murder trial is the primary focus of the third episode of Daredevil: Born Again. Since Foggy's death caused Matt to relinquish his identity as Daredevil, Cox's Marvel character is currently concentrating on his legal adventures. This leads him to defend yet another hero from the streets, and Matt is aware that Hector is White Tiger and did not murder the police officer. Everything appeared to be in place for the witness to testify and exonerate Hector of all charges after saving Nicky Torres at the end of episode 2. But in order to keep the police safe, Nicky lies out of fear.

As a result, Matt and Kirsten McDuffie's plan is ruined. Nicky was snubbed for dealing, which he did to support his son, so it's easy to see why he lied. His case was dropped when he became a police informant. In order to make it appear as though Hector attacked the police without cause, Nicky chose to fabricate a story about spending the entire night at home out of fear of reprisals. As a result, Matt violates the rule. Matt reveals the truth after first persuading the judge to prevent the revelation that Hector was White Tiger.

Hector's White Tiger mask is lifted for everyone to see by Matt. As a result, for the remainder of the trial, the prosecution and defense can both investigate the White Tiger factor of the case. Several witnesses who were rescued by White Tiger are called upon by Matt and Kirsten to testify about the hero's assistance. In order to dispel the myth that White Tiger was anti-cop, they go on to read a police report detailing how he assisted a police officer in capturing a suspect and saving his life. Hector Ayala is ultimately found "Not Guilty."

Adam's True Identity Is Still Unknown

The first few episodes of Daredevil: Born Again revealed that Wilson and Vanessa Fisk were experiencing marital problems. They began attending couples therapy sessions with Matt Murdock's new girlfriend, Heather Glenn. Adam appears to be one of the main causes of their issues. Up until now, the mystery character has only been alluded to and never seen in the MCU series. However, there appear to be a few potential explanations for Adam's identity based on the context of the couple's discussion about him. The first is that during Wilson's absence, Vanessa cheated on him.

Wilson informed Vanessa that he was aware of Adam at the beginning of their first conversation, and she begged her husband not to kill Adam. Given that Vanessa took over Kingpin's position as the leader of his criminal empire while he was recovering from a gunshot wound to the face, the mystery character's role may also not be romantic. Vanessa is angry in episode three that Fisk won't allow her to take charge of the five families, who are now causing mayhem without her. The Adam situation ought to worsen since Vanessa believes Wilson is punishing her.

White Tiger was killed by whom?

Like the first episode of the series, Daredevil: Born Again episode three also features a significant death. White Tiger was killed after it appeared that Matt had prevailed, exonerating Hector of all charges and even praising the functioning of the legal system. Hector was informed by Matt that he would never be allowed to return to the streets in his vigilante role if they prevailed. Hector maintained that being White Tiger was who he was and that since he had the ability to help people, that was what he needed to do. He is shot by a man wearing the Punisher's skull after he resumes patrolling.

Frank Castle, played by Jon Bernthal, has long been confirmed for the series. The Punisher's vest from his appearances in The Defenders Saga is the same one worn by the mystery character in Daredevil: Born Again. Frank may have been responsible for the act based on those indications as well as his willingness to get bloody and even shoot heroes. However, there are two filthy police officers with tattoos of a modified Punisher skull logo in Daredevil: Born Again. Perhaps Frank isn't responsible for the cop's death because White Tiger won a murder trial.

The Sounds of the Daredevil: Born Again Episode 3 Credits

Fans of Marvel films and television series have become accustomed to post-credits scenes. Although there isn't a single scene like that in Daredevil: Born Again episode 3, the creators of the MCU series devised a devastating way to wrap up the most recent episode. The sounds of the ocean and frogs can be heard as the credits roll. That alludes to the dialogue that begins the episode between Matt and Hector. Hector talks about the ocean and the peaceful sounds of singing frogs when he describes his favorite spot on earth.

He feared that he would never have the opportunity to return to the Puerto Rican beach that he enjoyed visiting. Matt assured him that he would, and by winning the case and releasing Hector, he even provided him with the resources to do so. But Hector will never be able to return to his favorite beach after White Tiger is brutally murdered by an unidentified figure donning the Punisher's emblem. As the credits roll following Hector's passing, the sounds of the singing frogs and crashing waves begin, creating a melancholic scene that concludes Daredevil: Born Again episode 3.
